33 Days Old - Father's Day
For Father's Day this year grandma Jan organized a suite at the Twins game ... so you got to see your Papa and Great Grandpas and Uncles and lots of other family. You certainly did not mind that the Twins game went for 15 innings ... but we left after 11 ... the Twins did finally win it.

4 Weeks Old!
Can't believe how fast your first 4 weeks have gone by! To me it seemed as if your pregnancy took an eternity! But now that you are in our arms time is speeding by again.
It was a nice sunny day today so we drove out to your Grandma Jan and Papa Ron's house so your big brothers and their friends and your big sister Mary could enjoy the swimming pool:

Here you are, Kai, napping in your big sister's lap ...but she is leaving for a short term mission trip tomorrow morning ... its only a week long but we are really going to miss her.
And here you are showing off your "I love mommy" shirt and several cute expressions:

23 Days Old
Busy day today, Kai ...
First we had to take your big brother Owen to his doctor appointment to check on how his leg is healing (he broke it back in April)
Look how brave he is:
Then we had a nice visit from Gi-Gi and her kids:
And then we had to go cheer on your big brother Gus at his baseball game (he is the catcher in the red shirt):
